Here is a minute of silence with the dance of light in the darkness.

Here is a minute of silence to recall the light which danced forth from Bishop Desmond Tutu,

which danced forth from bell hooks.
Here is a minute of silence to recall the light of individuals that shine bright in our own journeys. Here is a minute of silence to welcome the dance of Spirit.

Please accept this prayer

that the sacredness of this Winter darkness,

the holiness of this season’s new-beginnings Spirit

will rest, nourish, and repair your whole person,

will fuel the flame that grows you and grows in you

that heals you and heals through you.
